Kate Yehle is a graduate student at Texas Tech University pursuing her Master of Science in Kinesiology with a concentration in Motor Behavior and Exercise & Sport Psychology. She earned dual degrees from Arizona State University in May 2025, graduating Summa Cum Laude with a B.A. in Sports Business and a B.S. in Psychology. During her undergraduate studies, Kate gained hands-on experience through an internship with Dean Hebert at Mindset4Performance, an elite mental performance practice, which deepened her knowledge and solidified her passion for the field. A former competitive indoor and beach volleyball player, Kate’s own athletic journey—combined with her family’s love of sport and exercise—sparked her drive to pursue a career in sport psychology, with a particular focus on supporting youth athletes. She is excited to contribute to Dr. Lochbaum’s research in the years ahead.
